Eritrean Migrants

Nice Central station. This time of year a magnet for tourists in the heart of the French Riviera.

But amongst the summer crowds there are people who’ve risked their lives to reach here.

The border police say more than 90 per cent of illegal immigrants from Africa now reaching France are from Eritrea.

 

 

Kidano  joined 600 other men to make the perilous journey to Europe on a dangerously over-crowded boat from Libya.
